Frida Kahlo Exhibition

Hi friends!

Here to share my pics & feelings from my not-so-recent visit to Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera’s exhibition. It’s been nearly a month since I went but am undoubtedly still in that zone. Although it didn’t live up to my expectations of seeing the actual things that Frida used, it was overall an interesting experience to see in person the works of such an iconic woman in the art history.

Don’t know who she is? I would highly recommend that you still go and see the exhibition. It was a very informative study of her life and her impact to the history of art. There you get to see how she lived despite the extensive complicationsย in her life. Some may find her overwhelmingly emotionalย but you’ll be able to eventually comprehend the extent of damage that she experienced through her paintings.

Having learnt her life from my Art History in high school, I was immediately amazed by her strength and tenacity in facing the lemons that life threw at her, like gurlll you on fireย ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Hope you somehow enjoyed me blabbing on about shtuff
